Perhaps my previous post was somewhat confusing in tone. I was not intending to be sarcastic, I was actually trying to be nice an offer an apology to the players who still frequent N'Orleans and may have been wondering at the sudden loss of their local bartender. As for an excuse, I don't have one, nor do I recall attempting to use one. I thought apologies and excuses were essentially opposites when someone is at fault. I know full well that I got off easy by not being @jailed for having a stolen NPC in my room. Rather than assume everything is a personal attack, can we agree that this is an apology for misbehaviour and an appreciation of patience? There's no need to be ever on the defensive. -------------------------- Message 9496 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Wed Aug 27 02:51:52 2003 EDT From: Homegirl_Mik (#24590) To: *Chat (#5391) Subject: nothing lasts forever in the cold november rain Yak is one downass tizzidy tight gangsta, yea yea muthafuckles. -------------------------- Message 9497 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Wed Aug 27 02:58:10 2003 EDT From: Homegirl_Mik (#24590) To: *Chat (#5391) Subject: whatup botchez. yo yo yo niggas and nigettes. guess who's turnin eight-muthafuckin-teen in a week? that's right, HOMEGIRL MIK. shieeet gangstaz!! can y'all believe it? daaayum, i be waltzin into bars in a few years and gettin hammered like anna nicole smith on tranquilizers. for now i'm goin smoke some tiiiight blunts to get fuuuugggged up. my last days of youth. "Snowball in Hell" by Brian Stableford on page 369 of the 18th Edition of The Year's Best Science Fiction, originally published in the December 2000 issue of Analog. It's not as "furry" as the recombs are portrayed on Ghostwheel but it's a good yarn. -------------------------- Message 9509 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Wed Sep 3 23:00:40 2003 EDT From: Augustus (#18463) To: *Chat (#5391) Subject: Charles DeLint I just got home from driving to Berkeley to a small little book store to meet Charles DeLint who is one of my most favorite authors.
