My sister is going to RIT this fall and I've been asked to help her search for information. Personally, I think going with a g4 867 with 128 ram, 60 gig drive for 2499 is better then going for the dual 800 with 256, and 80 gig drive. Mainly, I think she should upgrade the ram, buy a better drive then a ATA66, and so on. ;) That and the dual 800 is for 3500, which is a really big chunk of change. I'm also looking for good monitors, and information on other peripherals so if anyone knows anything fill me in. Thanks. ;) -------------------------- Message 8843 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Sun Aug 5 14:35:09 2001 EDT From: Fortitude (#24841) To: *Chat (#5391) It has been suggested that I should run another plot, much like the ones that I ran last summer. However, before I invest my time in that sort of project, I'd like to find out how many people out there would be interested in participating. Like the others, this one would be open to all players, combat would not be allowed, and there would be no guarantee of rewards other than the RP. It would most likely be run on a weekend in late August. If I receive an adequate number of responses from interested players by Aug 12, I'll post follow up messages to *rp with any relevant information. Send @mail if you have any questions, or want to participate. -------------------------- Message 8844 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Sun Aug 5 14:36:54 2001 EDT From: Tikiaido (#24781) To: *Chat (#5391) Subject: RP plots... *mutters among the other natives in reverence to the god of RP* SIGN ME UP, BABY! -------------------------- Message 8845 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Mon Aug 6 20:18:15 2001 EDT From: Camber (#22034) To: *Chat (#5391) Subject: TP I'd be down. My suggestion would be to go with the single processor, but to /definately/ upgrade the RAM. I have a G3 450, with 256, and can run justabout anything I've ever needed to with no problems. Adobe owns my soul these days. -------------------------- Message 8848 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Fri Aug 10 00:42:46 2001 EDT From: Clayson (#17237) To: *Chat (#5391) Subject: RE: Fort on rp. Because it sounds/looks the same, then (haha) people will confuse them. It's not because they're not smart or anything.. just not very observant to their mistakes. -------------------------- Message 8852 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Sat Aug 18 03:28:15 2001 EDT From: Clayson (#17237) To: *Chat (#5391) Subject: re: DB It's not a brain thing, it's a control thing. You see, there are certain people who think that grammar and spelling are the way to prosperity. There are hundreds of thousands of people who make a living without grammar or spelling, that is why God invented secretaries. We are all different, I never had a problem getting a job, but then I have never been a secretary, or a teacher. DB, you know I love you, but that was a stupid thing to post. Especially when your first amendment is at risk and the communists are taking control of our country. Can you think of nothing more to post about? In my opinion there are way more important things to think about then then and than. I don't know if communits or amendment is spelled right, but then, my secretary is at home...but I think you get the picture. Speaking of pictures, where the hell is Mulder? -------------------------- Message 8853 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Sat Aug 18 08:01:55 2001 EDT From: DragonBabe (#5288) To: *Chat (#5391) Subject: Re: re Clayson *grins* I know ya love me. I love you too. I was in a silly mood this morning, lack of sleep does that to me at times, and it kinda got to me. Seeing the two words mixed up often confuses me and I have to read the sentence or post over again..sometimes several times. Am I not allowed to express myself as given me in the First Ammendment? Others, here, do. Anyway, as I put in brackets, it was a rant, and a silly one. And yeah! Where is Muldie! -------------------------- Message 8854 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Tue Aug 21 07:13:45 2001 EDT From: DragonBabe (#5288) To: *Chat (#5391) Subject: This is awesome!
