To involve the lower-statted players, you have to lower the stats of the enemy so that they can have a chance, and with stat-gods involved, they'll beat the Hell out of it with no problem. Even with posed combat, it's not too feasible to have a creature that does just as well against Slayer as it would against Naxos. If you have low and high PC's in the same plot, someone will get bored or frustrated. I have run a few anyone could play and man was that a real treat. When it came down to the last creature the statgods overran it. Or they got really bored if I made things for the low players to play with. Case in point. A plot Eppy ran, we had a few stat gods, they killed the end crit in something like 4 hits. The rest of us didn't even have a chance to try. If Akeashar wants to run a low-stat only TP he can. The stat people should be able to make their own plots. Is this to say that statgods shouldn't have TP's? No. But when you start playing statgods (a low population) it quickly throws it out of range for everyone else. I may make a few non-coded combat TP's for Statgods. That way I am saved the headache of trying to make something that they can handle. As for Morlith, I have wondered why more people don't care myself. -Kyn 'The Tinyplot TEK' -------------------------- Message 742 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Fri Dec 26 23:13:21 1997 EST From: Kzin (#5800) To: *Chat (#5391) Subject: Eppy's plot Actually, the end monster took quite a few stat gods to run over, and was many more than 4 hits. Why don't we just get rid of sparring altogether. All the other ideas I see being posted here are pretty much from CS. So lets do what they did, lets buy skills and atts, make all the players pretty much the same then we will have no worries. Or, lets just keep GW the way it is, like it should be while continuing to play on CS that way we have the both of best worlds. No matter what changes are made here, for better or worse it is not going to permote roleplaying. That has to come from each individual player. To me that is what is lacking on this moo. The roleplaying is to fluffy, not enough death and destruction. Im not complaining, but GM structure within the game would be nice. Evil evil players who show no mercy, total chaos and the fear of death. But this has to be done moo wide, not just tiny pockets for those who wish to play. In my opinion if you are here, then you should be involved even if you don't want to. Also, I would really like to see perm death instead of the penalties put to players because of death. At least with perm death you could start new, instead of being a weaker shell of what you once were. I dont know, I guess I just have this fear of signing on one day knowing my char can kill either Rathe or Kzin, to me that would really suck. Maybe Im crazy, but to me in a world such as this, there are no nice guys. There really is no economy, law and order or religion. Without these things in the real world, there would be total anarchy. But here, no one plays that...it just seems odd to me. *flashes her white ass to Gus while she is cooking pancakes for the 4 ppl who crashed on her living room floor lastnight* If only I was bored and didnt get enough attention...then I could move to Tahiti and open a nudist camp. -------------------------- Message 765 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Sat Dec 27 14:38:43 1997 EST From: Sterno (#21938) To: *Chat (#5391) Subject: Nice guys I play a nice guy. =) Happy Holidays to all. -------------------------- Message 766 from *Chat (#5391): Date: Sat Dec 27 15:32:29 1997 EST From: Spiral (#20542) To: *Chat (#5391) Subject: erm... Always changing the subject in the middle of a thought. Can't make up my mind for anything... But, I can do two things at once.. So if I got two girls I am sure I'd do great..
