A player told me there was some problem with the generation of corpses(?) and I kicked a bunch of redundant Corpse of Heos owned by packrat. Don't worry, the generic is still there. This is pretty much guesswork problem-solving; I may or may not have fixed the problem, the invalid object may or may not be the problem. I don't have wizperms, so I'm not gonna try to investigate further. heads up. ;) -------------------------- Message 876 from *Bugs (#1294): Date: Fri Aug 30 18:33:33 2002 CDT From: Nny (#25135) To: *Bugs (#1294) Subject: .. PackRat has some objects that need measured before its quota can be accurately calculated. It should type `@measure new` to update its ownership inventory. Measuring the sizes of PackRat's recently created objects... Total bytes used in new creations: 0. There were a total of 1 object(s) found with no .object_size property. This will prevent additional building. I believe this is the garbage object's fault. Corpses still aren't being generated. I know I'm not much of a RP'er, but I actually role played yesterday evening for about 30-45 mins in the real time lounge.. no combat, just chatting and what not, didn't earn not 01 points of potential. Then I went and hunted a bit, hunted some more this morning, this afternoon.. still no potential points at all. Then tonight I actually role played some more, did poses (according to dante it helps you earn points), and talked and what not, still not a single point. Even with sparring I usually ear a point or 2, but I sparred about an hour or so with Merri and didn't earn a single point. And the other night, a group of 6 of us RP'd in our mechs for a while.. and I think the mechs need to be coded so that when RP'ing in your mech with other mechs/dragons etc, you should still earn pot points. I noticed that I stopped earning points after I spent the 80 or so I had on stats and boosting my endurance back up to 95. I spent all of them though, saved, exited chargen with 0 points.. somewhere I got up to .16 points, but it hasn't changed at all since then. Enough rambling.. but could someone check me out and see if I'm 'broke' or something ;) -------------------------- Message 882 from *Bugs (#1294): Date: Thu Sep 5 15:02:31 2002 CDT From: Skeeter (#4961) To: *Bugs (#1294) Subject: potential/@chargen well, still not sure how it made me stop earning pot, but after reentering @chargen, saving and exiting, I started earning potential again. Doesn't make up for the past few days, that I actually RP'd more in than the past 8 years combined... but hey, it's working now. :) Just to let you all know. -------------------------- Message 883 from *Bugs (#1294): Date: Thu Sep 5 15:20:27 2002 CDT From: Khyber (#12460) To: *Bugs (#1294) @eject drop from me You expel 1451 slisssh droppings from Khyber. #946:transfer (this == #32771), line 59: Invalid indirection . called from #946:moveto_transfer (this == #32771), line 10 . called from #946:moveto (this == #32771), line 4 . called from #1:eject eject_nice eject_basic (this == #12460), line 20 (End of traceback) -------------------------- Message 884 from *Bugs (#1294): Date: Thu Sep 5 15:20:54 2002 CDT From: Nny (#25135) To: *Bugs (#1294) Subject: re: Khyber Don't @eject objects into nowhere, you twit :) -------------------------- Message 885 from *Bugs (#1294): Date: Thu Sep 5 15:21:28 2002 CDT From: Khyber (#12460) To: *Bugs (#1294) Subject: I'm not a twit Someone should make a dumpster or something for the shit to go in. -------------------------- Message 886 from *Bugs (#1294): Date: Thu Sep 5 19:14:24 2002 CDT From: Shandryl (#24740) To: *Bugs (#1294) Subject: dumpster THere is a dumpster in New ORleans!!!
